 EXOZONE® IN AGRICULTURE

ExOzone® is a dry, chemical-free application with no residues thus no need for down-time after treatment. It is substituting chemicals and fumigants (HPO, Chlorine, Formaldehyde or PAA) in daily disinfection operations of grain farmers, processors or distributors. The created high concentrations of gaseous ozone is safe for the grain, it is USDA organic certified and can treat grain in silos or feed mills or the silos and equipment themselves.

ExOzone® treatment has no harmful effect on the grain. It only affects the surface of the grain and and does not penetrate the inside of the crop.

USDA final rule on ozone dated 12/17/2002, FSIS Directive 7120.1 states: safe and suitable in the production of meat and poultry. Ozone can be used in accordance with current industry standards.

Reference 21 CFR 173.368 - Ozone (CAS Reg. No. 10028-15-6) may be safely used in the treatment, storage, and processing of foods, including meat and poultry.
