WHAT IS
DISINFECTION?

All the procedures used to eliminate or reduce the number of the (micro)organisms in the environment.

Three components of disinfection

 
  • TREATMENT
    TIME

    The prudent setting of the exact treatment time is especially important. It is influenced by the treated area and the infection causing elements, which should be examined previously. 

  • DISINFECTING
    AGENT

    Ozone like most of the disinfectants used nowadays disinfects via oxidation. While using it, the proper concentration must be ensured. We suggest, as rule of thumb, that at least 25 ppm is required.

  • APPLIED
    PROCEDURE

    The method is a way of application carried out with a specific disinfecting solution. It can be variable, because it takes into account many factors such as the medium of the disinfection and the desired objective.

Unless the required disinfecting and sterilization conditions are met, the desired level of harmful organisms, toxin-free food or a pest-free environment cannot be ensured!

Technologies used nowdays

Gaseous based

The currently best option that can be choosed considering the efficiency. The disinfecting agent is in gas state, in which way it can be delivered everywhere in the airspace and no surface remains untreated.

Spraying and fogging

These mostly chemical based technologies have a big variety of 
design and mechanical operation. Essentially all of them intend to deliver the disinfecting agent in the form of small fluid spheres to the treated areas.

UVC technology

This light based solution utilize the DNA and RNA distruction effect of the UV-C waves. In case of direct contact, these light waves are capable to eliminate microorganisms.

Manual wiping

This old-timer technology utilize the extremely strong effect of liquid chemicals, that is applied with manual force on the surfaces.
