Ozone Material Compatibility: Safe for Most Surfaces

Properly used, ozone is compatible with most materials commonly found in food & beverage processing facilities. Short residual contact time makes it compatible for most surfaces. Ozone is compatible with but not limited to all surface materials listed below:

  • Stainless steel (304, 316, 316L)

  • Plastics (ECTFE, PTFE, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, PE, HDPE, Polycarbonate)

  • Aluminum (all grades)

  • Most conveyor belt materials

  • Gaskets (FPM/Viton, Durlon 9000)

  • Concrete, painted concrete

  • Most synthetic rubbers

  • Painted surfaces

  • Glass
